I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, central heating, a flat-screen TV, and a refrigerator. The bathroom was nice, it was nice to have a bathtub. The location was favourable, near to the center of town, Germany and the train station, in a wonderful area:)))
The staff were a bit rude, didn't expect that coming.

Nice view, nice room.
The reception couldn't find my reservation at my arrival, but after a few hours they told us that it is ok. No free internet access - we had to pay for a few hours.

Location: the hotel is situated on the main road in Idar and from there Oberstein and the main tourist attractions are easily reached. The hotel has its own parking lot.
The rooms are very basic. We booked a suite, but this was no more than a standard double room with just some more space. The rooms are extremely noisy. Wifi is unstable.

Spent Easter weekend at this hotel and it was phenomenal. the staff was super friendly and helpful, always with a smile. the breakfast was amazing with a variety of foods to choose from. the view from the room was breathtaking with stunning landscapes nearby. the location was great for easy and quick access to local attractions and amenities. the room was outstanding, clean, modern, and comfortable with everything we needed.
The hotel was quite isolated, which meant that we had to rely heavily on taxis. the parking cost was not included in the room rate, which was quite a bummer.

the large room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the town and valley. the bathroom had a wonderful bathtub with plenty of hot water. the desk clerk was kind and explained everything to us, including the complimentary breakfast that was totally satisfying. We were also pleased with the facilities and room advantages, such as the ample space and comfortable beds.
Despite our great experience, the hotel's lack of personnel during the evening and at night left us a little uneasy.

The beds were really comfy and I slept like a baby! The location was really practical as the conference center was just around the corner and there were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms were always clean and the staff was friendly and kind.
The breakfast was supposed to be open until 10am, but when I arrived at 9.30am, the breakfast room was already closed. , there were no outlets near the beds, which made charging my phone a hassle.
